What is Animal Biomechanical Medicine?
Animal Biomechanical Medicine combines veterinary science with hands-on manual therapies—including osteopathy, chiropractic techniques, and rehabilitation strategies—to assess and improve the horse’s posture, movement, and overall function.
It's about working with the body to restore balance, comfort, and performance, while helping prevent future issues through better biomechanics.
Dr. Raquel utilises many modalities including Laser Therapy, Taping, CranioSacral, Acupuncture Oriented Energetics, Surefoot pads, Tuning fork therapy and Masterson Method to name a few in order to formulate an individualised approach to your horse.Â
